Chapstick wanted to create a web series featuring top amateur musicians performing songs about Chapstick in their own style. The Burns Group enlisted Decon co-founder and Director Jason Goldwatch to lend his creative eye to the series.
The Burns Group enlisted Decon co-founder and Director Jason Goldwatch to lend his creative eye to the series. Talent was key to the success of the series, so we used both traditional and very non-traditional casting methods to end up with our diverse cast of talent. Jason worked hand in hand with our in-house music team and the musicians to write “jingles” appropriate to the style of each musician and the Chapstick flavor they were paired with. We got our C300s out and shot these fun performances around Brooklyn.
These simple yet effective videos were full of personality, and was a very unique content play for the brand. And we’re excited about any project that features an all-female Mariachi band!
