NBCUniversal’s environmental initiative, Green Is Universal, tasked Decon with refreshing their “Green Week” campaign. Always inspired by a challenge, we brought the campaign to life through a series of animated PSAs and a mechanical window installation.
Using the prowess of our own director Christopher Eades, we oversaw the creation of three distinct, elegantly detailed worlds with a message for our PSAs. Playing both online and on-air, the pieces brought a completely new look to the brand’s iconic campaign.
Our window installation piece was a living infographic of “The Journey Of A Paper Cup.” The 7-foot display was brought to life in a simple, yet compelling process by a 2.5D, gear-powered truck that made the voyage from pulp factory to coffee shop.
The unique approach delivered and made it clear that small lifestyle changes can have a huge impact on the environment. We were also thrilled when our work landed the campaign a Promax Award for Art Direction & Design.
