Nissan wanted to tell the story of the Leaf - their 100% electric car – with a profile series introducing real owners from across the country. With a docu-style approach and real storytelling their top priorities, TBWA\Chiat\Day called Decon for the job.
Director and Decon co-founder Jason Goldwatch took an intimate and personal approach to the series. With each profile, we live with the owners for a day – running errands, juggling kids, making a stop at the car wash – and see not only who they are, but how important a role the Leaf, and it’s zero emissions trademark – is to their way of life.
Nissan came away with 5 profile pieces that truly authenticate the lifestyle of a Leaf owner, while showing the versatility and ease of owning the car. And the viewers learn a little something, too.
